Scotland - Drink drive limit reduction effective today!

The legal alcohol limit reduces today in Scotland from 80mg to 50mg in every 100ml of blood, as we have previously reported - 'Scottish Government's intention to reduce the drink drive limit'.

The legal limit in Scotland was 80mg of alcohol for every 100ml of blood (the same as England).

Scotland is now in line with Germany, France and Spain. A similar proposal to reduce the limit is being considered in Northern Ireland.
